ODM ELECTION BOARD NULLIFIES BUSIA GOVERNOR NOMINATIONS

Fresh nominations to be held on 25th of April this is after ODM election board nullifies Busia governor nominations.

Chaos and controversy  hit ODM nominations that kicked off in Busia on Thursday, April 13. Fake Nation newspapers were circulating with screaming headlines that MP Paul Otuoma had defected to Jubilee .
The nomination was also delayed as materials had not arrived in polling stations in time.A driver of Busia county deputy governor was attacked and the vehicle smashed and tyres deflated by rowdy youth

Governor Sospeter Ojaamong and Funyula MP Paul Otuoma, two rivals for the gubernatorial ticket, claimed that the nomination process expected to start at 8 am Thursday, April 13, was delayed as nomination materials had not arrived. The two expressed concern on the delay. 

There were also fake Nation newspapers circulating with a screaming headline that Otuoma had defected from ODM to Jubilee Party 

The MP has blamed the propaganda on Ojaamong. Otuoma has recorded a statement at the Bumala Police Station over the same. On his part, 

Ojaamong claimed that Otuoma is a Jubilee mole and that even ODM leader Raila Odinga knows that. He exuded confidence that he will beat him in the nomination exercise
